Nicely priced noise reduction

There are few usable plugins for noise reduction on FCPX, the best one I’ve found so far is NeatVideo, so that is what every newcomer is compared to. :)

In direct comparison, Photon Pro does not look too bad. The controls are much simpler and the design is very much in an FCPX way. The results are pretty good, edges remain sharp and focused (even more so than in NeatVideo) and weird color blocking is kept to a minimum. Render times are okay (slightly faster than NeatVideo, which is painfully slow). The price is amazing, much cheaper than the direct competitor.

The only problem I have with it is the complete lack of any help or instruction. Installation is weird but managable. But I basically had to guess what each slider means (which isn’t too hard). I am sure this will come in the future when the plugins gets more widely spread. Then I will gladly give my fifth star.
